We have never had a bad meal there and have been going there for years. The shrimp tacos were outstanding! Keep up the good work! Both the food and service never disappoint!
The food was outstanding. To find a piece of fresh fish that fresh and was so delicious in the middle of Michigan was a real treat. The prices are extremely reasonable and the food quality is outstanding. Our server went the extra mile and was very attentive. I would hardly recommend this restaurant all!
If you're looking for a hearty, home-cooked breakfast in Hastings, Phil's Galley is the place to be! I had the Denver Skillet, which was packed with flavor—perfectly cooked eggs, ham, peppers, onions, and melted cheese, all layered over crispy potatoes. It was a satisfying and well-balanced meal that hit the spot. The highlight was their housemade toast—thick, fresh, and perfectly golden brown. It added a special homemade touch that you don’t often find at chain restaurants.
Cool atmosphere. Loved the design of the bar in the middle with seating on both sides. The wood craftsmanship was impressive. I had a sandwich which drew inspiration from a Cuban sandwich. It was heavy on pickles and mustard. The mustard was a tad much and took away from the balance of what makes a Cuban sandwich good. Overall, the service was good. I'd stop in and try something else.
Another fabulous meal and service at SG. Today we tried the Steak Diane and The Grille. Both cooked to perfection. Our app and sides were great. I don’t remember our servers name but she was awesome. This is me and my sons favorite “date night” spot.
A someone eclectic menu with everything from lasagna to Thai chili vegetable egg rolls. We had the egg rolls and Maui pizza and both were very good. Hands down the best pizza I’ve had in a while.
Excellent food and drinks! The waitress was also our bartender and the Italian Manhattans and the Cosmos were exceptional! We came for an anniversary lunch and this was just a great place to go with super service! Food wasn’t bad either! Lol! Walls were covered in art that was for sale and the vibe was completely relaxed.
The Seasonal Grille could be considered a hidden gem. The food is outstanding and the presentation is top notch! We split an appetizer and and entree which was no problem at all. The app was the Duck & Sweet corn wontons. The entree was the Steak Diane! Both were so very good. The sauce for the steak Diane is excellent Definitely returning to try other items on the menu!
